Catechist of the Good Shepherd Curriculum for Ages: 3-9 years
If God is presented to the child through tangible and meaningful activities, it will do more for the child than just arouse interest; it will create in the child a sense of joy, admiration, and wonder. ~ Maria Montessori
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is an approach to religious formation that offers a catechetical experience in which children and adults explore the essentials of the Catholic Faith in a way that engages and delights children. Our goal is to engage and excite children in the traditions while giving them the tools they need to explore their faith and experience with God. This formation method provides a specifically prepare space for the religious life of the child, called the Atrium.

Classical Catechesis Ages: 10 years through Confirmation
"Faith Formation is more than a subject to be taught - for profoundness. It is a way of life." ~ Joe Paprocki, DMin
Once the child passes through the age of reason, we turn our focus to the rich deposit of faith available in providing conversational style courses. By diving deeply into the saints and our Catechism of the church, our focus now shifts to memorizing and analyzing what is taught in the Catechism and those whom lived it best. This classical formation method begins to prepare the child for their adult faith.
Session 2: Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45pm
Youth Group for Confirmed Youth
Upon Confirmation, the now, adult member of the church is afforded a unique opportunity to continue deepening their faith. This course is designed to prepare the Confirmed for living their faith in the current world. While heavy on apologetics, the conversations encompass a more unique style where by the adult-child has the expectation to contribute more fully in the faith discussions.
These fireside discussions meet off campus at the Parish rectory youth building, which is in walking distance of the main church campus.
Session 2: Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45pm
*Special consideration given to those who are in HS and not yet received the sacrament of Confirmation.
Fireside Chats for all Parents/Parishioners
